RIXE was born from a rebellion, against ugly kit, loud colors, and gear that didn’t fit real riders. It started because we were tired of being told we had to look like neon high-lighters just to go for a ride. But it wasn't just the colors. We were over the lack of consideration for fit, function, or any recognizable sense of style. Especially for women, we’re done with gear being an afterthought, or the "shrink it and pink it" strategy.
We weren't interested in the "MTB uniform" or mass-produced kits that make everyone look like they’re on the same factory team. We wanted pieces that actually fit a human body, felt like a second skin, and didn't make us feel like a walking billboard at the brewery afterward.
We’ve spent nearly two years obsessing over the “boring” stuff, fabric weight, how it drapes, where every seam sits and how it feels.
The measurements, the cut, the sweep, the finishing.
Every detail, dialled and making sure nothing we made came off a generic factory shelf. If it wasn't something we’d choose to wear every single day, it didn't make the cut.
The result is RIXE. The name comes from the French word for brawl. It’s a nod to grit and toughness, done in a way that’s premium, considered, and fashion-led, never loud or screaming for attention. It’s a small collection because we’d rather do a few things perfectly than mass-produce a bunch of noise.
We aren’t here to tell you how to look; we just made the kit that finally lets you look like you. Built properly. Not overdone. And honestly, we worked damn hard on these pieces. We love them, we think you will too.
